Aug. 5 (Sun) Acton, ME – Vacationland VW Air and Water-cooled VW club show, Acton Fairground, Rt. 109 Acton, ME. 8am -12 reg., awards around 3pm. Sponsored by VW of Rochester, NH; Adept Screen Printing and Graphics in Lisbon Falls; and Waynes Foreign Auto in Arundel. Show cars: $10; spectators: $3, under 10 free. Aug. 12 (Sun) Brewerton, NY - Syracuse VW show, Oneida Shores County park Brewerton, NY, Mckinley Ridge EAST, 9400 Bartell Road, Brewerton, NY 13029. Over 30 classes including vintage air cooled, modern water cooled, buggies and campers. *New German Heritage class (invite your BMW & Mercedes/Audi friends). Gates open: spectators @ 9:00 am - show cars and vendors @ 8:00 am. Show Runs 9:00am to 3:00pm (Awards @ 3pm). Car show registration judged: 9:00am - 12:00 pm. Held on the tree shaded lawns of the fairgrounds front park area, this event will showcase the full range of Type II's, from barndoors to Eurovans. Any era and all models of VW's are welcome to enjoy this BNNTA family-oriented VW camping event during the long Labor Day holiday weekend.
