| "Staggered" GTG/BBQ 4.10.10 3rd Edition A GTG/BBQ held at Rocky Neck State Park, CT. The few old VW Beetles and Buses in attendence were totally outclassed by the high performance VWs, Audis and BMWs! A beautiful day with good food and lots of fun anyway. |

| CVA Spring Kickoff Party & Meeting The Connecticut Volkswagen Association kicked off their 2010 season and 25th Anniversary with a gathering at the Simsbury Fireman's Club. With a mild 72 degree temperature, great food and several classic VW's all made for a good start on this year's events. |

| 18th Annual Connecticut Bug-A-Fair - 2009 A great show and plenty hot and humid to...temperature 92, dew point 72. The 18th Annual Connecticut Bug-A-Fair had over 250 registered VW showcars, both air and watercooled and over 50 vendors in the swap area. All proceeds from this show go to the Terryville Lions Club for their many charitable local activities. |

| West River Westies 2009 Oh, what a terrific time was had.!!! 60 registered vehicles: 38 Vanagons & Westies, 5 Eurovan Campers, 9 Bay Window Campers, 3 Split Windows and 5 non VWs. 7 came from Ontario & Quebec, Canada. Furry & Feathered: 26 Dogs, 3 Cats & 1 Parakeet. Bikers: 16 made it to the Scott Bridge, several more made it over the Townshend Dam returning to BMC via Route 30. Estimate of some 30 including dogs tubed in the LiMBO Regatta. We were also honored to have the oldest member of LiMBO who came up from St. Petersburg, FL, picked up his 77 Westy in New Jersey and drove it the remaining way to WRW VI. |

| CVA's 19th Annual Spring Dustoff, Mansfield Hollow State Park, Mansfield, CT This year's Dustoff attracted some 200 Volkswagen vehicles of all models and age. It was a beautiful spring day ( more like summer ) with a record setting temperature of 89. There was a good turnout of Transporter models from T-1 to T-3, including Panel Vans, Single Cabs, conventional Vans and many Westfalia Camper models. Many in good to showroom condition and some not, but all running. |
