I have the vanagon volkswagen service manual in adobe pdf format.
Vanagon type 25 Manual. 1983 onwards. Has Diesels and water-cooled.( some aircooled stuff too)

I dont know if it is compatable with a mac.

this is what it covers...aircooled , waterboxer and diesel..campers tops and interiors, synchros. 80-83 aircooled, 83-85 water and 86 and after water..
973 pages of vanny goodness..with tonz of pics !amazed
