Cobscook Bay State Park Campground
« on: May 13, 2008, 10:58:37 PM »
I was just recommended to go to Cobscook Bay State Park in Maine. It sounded very nice with waterside camping, and it is not far from Acadia National Park. Has anyone been there? I would love to hear more first hand input.
Thanks,
Guy

We made it to Cobscook as a substitute for the Buoy which was full. Cobcook was the cat's meow if you want to get away from it all.  Arriving after labor day allowed us freedom to show with no reservations and still get a spot on the water.  :P The camp sites are very private and there is clamming at low tide. Be prepaired, as the resources in town are limited.
