operable window for Eurovan?
« on: September 05, 2006, 07:52:53 AM »
I have a 93 Eurovan GL and am planning to do my own camper conversion. There is a sliding window behind the drivers seat but all others are fixed. I would like to get an operable window either in the passenger side rear or in the sliding door. Any suggestions on how this might be accomplished?

I also have a 93 GL that I am going to convert to a camper myself.  The sliding window for the sliding door was an option.  I searched junkyards until I found a sliding window for the sliding door, then had an auto  glass place install it for me.

Thanks so much for the response. My local VW dealer did not show any options for operable window on their microfiche, so I assumed it did not exist. I now have an internet search out to junkyards to find one.
