April 20-22 (Fri-Sun) Bradenton, FL – VWs over the Sunshine Skyway, 22nd anniversary. Camping Friday and Saturday at the Winter Quarters Manatee, 800 Kay Rd. NE., Bradenton, FL 34212. May 19 (Sat) Heber Springs, AR – Mountaintop Volkswagen Club show. This is the 11th year for our VW Car Show in Spring Park. It is held in conjunction with Springfest, a spring festival for the entire family with music, food, craft vendors and a fantastic display of old and new VWs. Porsche vehicles are also invited this year. Registration begins at 9am. Judging starts at noon, with hopes of awarding trophies by 3pm. June 1-3 (Fri-Sun) Riverhead, NY – Buses by the Big Duck - Indian Island campground (631-852-3232). If you're coming from New England, you can take a ferry from Bridgeport or New London Last minute arrivals are welcome, so if you do not know your plans until the day before, there will be room. Pot luck dinner/raffles will be on Saturday night. IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PET OWNERS: Pets must be leased at all times, licensed and vaccinated. June 1-3 (Fri-Sun) Springfield, MO – June Bug Jamboree. The GROOVE Club invites you to Springfield, MO to attend their annual Volkswagen Show. The show is a summer staple for VW owners and enthusiasts. Friday – Early entry/registration is from 5pm to 7pm. Our evening event under the stars is a concert featuring a local band, Fall Risk. The band starts around 8 pm, bring a lawn chair and/or blanket. Saturday - The car show begins at 8 am, the VWs will be divided into 23 classes with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each class. There will also be specialty awards. A non-judged class is also available. All car show entries must be Volkswagen powered or bodied. There is also a swap meet/vendor section complete with a car corral, parts and fun accessories. Admission to the event is FREE. Entries to the competitions, camping and car corral require nominal fees. Pre-registration can be done on our website and save yourself some time and bucks. Onsite Primitive Camping is available for Friday & Saturday nights. (There are a few electric sites - first come, first serve). June 7-10 (Thur-Sun) Almonte, Mississippi Mills, Ontario, Canada – BusFusion campout, North Lanark Agricultural Fair Grounds, 195 Water Street, Almonte Ward, Mississippi Mills, Ontario. June 8-10 (Fri-Sun) Glacier, WA – Mt. Baker camp out. Excelsior Group Camp B off Mt. Baker Hwy., Whatcom County Washington. We are bringing back an old favorite started by the legendary Karmann Bob. Two nights of VW camping in the beautiful Mt. Baker wilderness located next to the Nooksack river off scenic Mt. Baker Hwy. There are no amenities at this camp ground so be sure to bring plenty of food, wood, water and adult drinks. Saturday, we will all join for a pot-luck dinner under the shelter. Only $20 for the weekend! Get that hulk of a VW running, grab the family and come join us for a weekend of FUN!

June 17 (Sun) Terryville, CT - Terryville Bug-A-Fair at the Terryville Fairgrounds, Town Hill Road, Terryville Connecticut from 9am to 3pm. 40 Show car classes for both aircooled and watercooled VWs with over 100 awards and best of show awards. Car registration opens at 9am, judging starts at 12 noon and awards at 3pm. The show also has a large swap meet with over 75 vendors selling used and new VW items. Featuring VW-only camping on a 22 mile long lake, an informal VW Bus show, a fun and highly competitive best individual and best group campsite decoration contest, a scenic countryside caravan on Saturday to discover the sights of historic Hannibal, MO. Sept. 14 - 16 (Fri-Sun) Flanders, NJ – All Air-Cooled Gathering, German Swim and Sport Club, 272 Emmans Rd, Flanders, NJ 07836. VW camaraderie and the Sat. clubhouse party; and again at 8:00 am on Sunday for the show. We have kids games, "Dub Push", valve cover racing and a big swap meet. All air-cooled cars are welcome and encouraged to enter the show. There will be trophies, dash plaques, raffle prizes, on-site kitchen, bar and live music all weekend. Sept. 15 (Sat) Riverton, UT – Utah VW classic. Presented by the Utah Transporter Association and title sponsor KCW KUSTOM COACH WERKS. The show is the largest all VW event in Utah; car show, swap meet and community event held in the same location as last year (20 min south of Salt Lake). This year Blackline Racing will be building a motor for our grand raffle prize. The show raffle money and sponsorship donations go towards our club Christmas charity "Bussin for Santa" where we deliver Christmas to families in need. Oct. 6 (Sat) Oklahoma City, OK – Old Volks show. Sponsored by VW club of Oklahoma City. For more than 30 years, The Old Volks Show has been ‘the’ place to see and show iconic VW’s. We will have more than 25 classes of both Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled. If you don't want to compete for one of the over 25 trophies, you can still put your VW or classic Porsche in the show area with the show cars for a reduced fee. Oct. 4-7 (Thur-Sun) Salem and Brookline, MA –Transporterfest/Volkswagen Day. Join us Sunday for the 32nd annual gathering of the Buses, and all VWs, on the historic lawn at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum, 15 Newton St, Brookline, MA 02445. 9am – 3pm. Open to all VWs and swap meet sellers as well. No pre-registration, just show up on the day of the show. Event is rain or shine with on-site food vendor and indoor restrooms. $20 show registration includes auto museum admission for all passengers in vehicle. Oct. 6-7 (Sat-Sun) Green Lane, PA – Buses by the Depot campout. Sponsored by the Bus Depot. Green Lane Park, 2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane, PA 18054. Located in the scenic Perkiomen Valley, roughly midpoint between Philadelphia, Allentown, and Reading, PA, this scenic county park consists of over 3400 acres, three lakes, hiking and horseback trails, tennis courts, two playgrounds, and a nature center. Saturday caravan to nearby Bus Depot retail store. Join us afterwards for a potluck dinner back at the campground. Camping is very inexpensive ($10/night). Details at

Oct. 14 (Sun) Old Saybrook, CT - The CVA’s Annual Fall Foliage Cruise, starts at the Riverhouse at Goodspeed station, 55 Bridge Rd., Haddam, CT (Rt. 82), from 9am to ??? Held rain or shine this event will wind through the scenic roads of Connecticut with a few stops along the way. Please bring a picnic lunch. Dinner after the cruise for those that are interested. Oct. 19-21 (Fri-Sun) Lenhartsville, PA - Bustoberfest at Blue Rocks campground, 341 Sousley Rd, Lenhartsville, PA 19534. Sites are $32/night, Brad and Andrea (your hosts) have booked the group site and two overflow sites. Bring your favorite craft/local beer and wine for tasting on Saturday in the afternoon. We will be having raffles to help support a local food pantry in Phoenixville, PA. Potluck Saturday night, door prizes and Halloween events happening at the campground. Oct. 21 (Sun) Mocksville, NC – SEVWA Fast Times at Farmington. Held at Farmington Dragway. All VW Car Show, Swap Meet and Drag Racing. Huge Vendor and swap meet Midway. LARGEST VW Drag Racing event on the East Coast. Over 25 classes for all models of Volkswagens air and watercooled. Featuring special heads up class plus 3 bracket classes and Test and Tune. Nov. 2-4 (Fri-Sun) Yuma, AZ – Volkswagen’s on the River. Come join us for another Volkswagen's on the River Campout, Show and Swap! Car show / swap is Saturday, 8am to 2pm under Yuma's Historic OCEAN to OCEAN Bridge, Colorado River, big trees and green grass. Top 10 Trophies, T-shirts, Raffles, Kids Events, Food, Hot and Cold Drinks. Spectator Entrance is $2 (12 & under free), Vehicle Show Entry is $10, vender space $20, swap space $10 per vehicle, $40 for food vendors. Camping is $35 for the weekend, which includes power showers and regular bathrooms. Friday night dinner is $7 for everyone and free 1st Keg of beer.
