July 8 (Sat) Reading, PA - Deutsche Classic, Oley Fairgrounds, 26 Jefferson Street, Oley, PA 19547. Annual premier all-German Automotive event including vintage, classic and late model Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche as well as the unique German orphan and micro cars: DKW, Goliath, Goggomobil, Heinkel, Isetta, Messerschmitt, NSU, Opel, Wartburg among others. German motorcycles are welcome too. Swap meet, car show, car corral, live music, Ladies in Jeans contest with cash prizes and tire toss competition with $600 tire vouchers. July 14-16 (Fri-Sun) Townshend, VT - A VW weekend.  Camping At Bald Mountain (formally WRW)  A family camping event at Bald Mountain Campground, 1760 State Forest Road, Townshend, VT. 05353. Telephone for reservations 1-802-365-7510. Cost of camping per night is $23.85 including taxes. Early arrivals before 1:00 PM will be charged half of a nights stay. As always there will be a pot luck supper Saturday, tubing on the river, hiking and biking, or do as much or little as you see fit. Aug. 27 (Sun) Antioch, CA - Nor-Cal Bus Fest. Contra Costa County Fairgrounds, 1201 West 10th St, Antioch, CA 94509 (use main entrance) Gates open at 8:00 am for this display and swap event which is open to ALL Volkswagen buses and trucks, regardless of year, model or condition. Held on the tree shaded lawns of the fairgrounds front park area, this event will showcase the full range of Type II's, from barndoors to Eurovans. Sept. 1 - 4 (Fri-Mon) Mark Twain Lake, MS - Buses Nowhere Near the Arch. Any era and all models of VW's are welcome to enjoy this BNNTA family-oriented VW camping event during the long Labor Day holiday weekend. Featuring VW-only camping on a 22 mile long lake, an informal VW Bus show, a fun and highly competitive best individual and best group campsite decoration contest, a scenic countryside caravan on Saturday to discover the sights of historic Hannibal, MO. If you have something VW related that you want to donate to the door prize pile, please bring it along and we'll give it away. There will be event t-shirts, etc. available. Sept. 8 - 10 (Fri-Sun) Watkins Glen, New York - Westies at Watkins. Track side camping at the Watkins Glen International Raceway during the 2017 US Vintage Grand Prix race weekend. This camping event is sponsored by the Empire VW Camping Club with a special invitation from The Glen! (www.theglen.com) to the VW community. Special week-end pricing package will be available to all VW owners.
2017 VW Owners Package: $100 package includes 1 general admission and 1 reserved campsite with our group (Area C) -  let Rob know that you are with the VW Group. All VWs are welcomed. Westies are not required; and tenting is OK. Activities for all car enthusiast, including access to these vintage race car pits and paddock to get up close to these great race cars. Sept. 10 (Sun) Westbrook, CT - CVA’s 13th annual Volks-Meet. NEW Date. Sept. 15 - 17 (Fri-Sun) Flanders, NJ - All Air-Cooled Gathering, German Swim and Sport Club, 272 Emmans Rd, Flanders, NJ 07836. VW camaraderie and the Sat. clubhouse party; and again at 8:00 am on Sunday for the show. We have kids games, "Dub Push", valve cover racing and a big swap meet. All air-cooled cars are welcome and encouraged to enter the show. There will be trophies, dash plaques, raffle prizes, on-site kitchen, bar and live music all weekend. Proceeds will go to help support Operation Jersey Cares, an all volunteer organization that provides care and support for past and present NJ Combat Veterans. Sept. 16 (Sat) Riverton, UT - Utah VW classic. Presented by the Utah Transporter Association and title sponsor KCW KUSTOM COACH WERKS. The show is the largest all VW event in Utah; car show, swap meet and community event held in the same location as last year (20 min south of Salt Lake). This year Blackline Racing will be building a motor for our grand raffle prize. The show raffle money and sponsorship donations go towards our club Christmas charity "Bussin for Santa" where we deliver Christmas to families in need. Oct. 1 (Sat) Oklahoma City, OK - Old Volks show 2016. Sponsored by VW club of Oklahoma City. For more than 30 years, The Old Volks Show has been ‘the’ place to see and show iconic VW’s. We will have more than 25 classes of both Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled. If you don't want to compete for one of the over 25 trophies, you can still put your VW or classic Porsche in the show area with the show cars for a reduced fee. We call this Preferred Parking. $20 to show a car and $10 for Preferred Parking. Oct. 5-8 (Thur-Sun) Salem and Brookline, MA -Transporterfest/Volkswagen Day. Join us Sunday for the 31st annual gathering of the Buses, and all VWs, on the historic lawn at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum, 15 Newton St, Brookline, MA 02445. 9am - 3pm. Open to all VWs and swap meet sellers as well. No pre-registration, just show up on the day of the show. Event is rain or shine with on-site food vendor and indoor restrooms. $20 show registration includes auto museum admission for all passengers in vehicle. Oct. 6-8 (Fri-Sun) Green Lane, PA - Buses by the Depot. Sponsored by the Bus Depot. Located in the scenic Perkiomen Valley, roughly midpoint between Philadelphia, Allentown, and Reading, PA, this scenic county park consists of over 3400 acres, three lakes, hiking and horseback trails, tennis courts, two playgrounds, and a nature center. Saturday caravan to nearby Bus Depot retail store. Join us afterwards for a potluck dinner back at the campground. Camping is very inexpensive ($10/night last year). LARGEST VW Drag Racing event on the East Coast. Over 25 classes for all models of Volkswagens air and watercooled. Featuring special heads up class plus 3 bracket classes and Test and Tune. Oct. 15 (Sun) Old Saybrook, CT - The CVA’s 18th Annual Fall Foliage Cruise, starts at The Riverhouse at Goodspeed station, 55 Bridge Rd., Haddam, CT (Rt. 82), from 9am to ?? Held rain or shine this event will wind through the scenic roads of Connecticut with a few stops along the way. Please bring a picnic lunch. Dinner after the cruise for those that are interested. Oct. 20-22 (Fri-Sun) Lenhartsville, PA - Bustoberfest at Blue Rocks campground, 341 Sousley Rd, Lenhartsville, PA. Sites are $32/night, Brad and Andrea (your hosts) have booked the group site and two overflow sites. Bring your favorite craft/local beer and wine for tasting on Saturday in the afternoon. We will be having raffles to help support a local food pantry in Phoenixville, PA. Potluck Saturday night, door prizes and Halloween events happening at the campground. Nov. 3-5 (Fri-Sun) Yuma, AZ - Volkswagen’s on the River. Come join us for another Volkswagen's on the River Campout, Show and Swap! Car show / swap is Saturday, 8am to 2pm under Yuma's Historic OCEAN to OCEAN Bridge, Colorado River, big trees and green grass. Top 10 Trophies, T-shirts, Raffles, Kids Events, Food, Hot and Cold Drinks. Spectator Entrance is $2 (12 & under free), Vehicle Show Entry is $10, vender space $20, swap space $10 per vehicle, $40 for food vendors. Camping is $35 for the weekend, which includes power showers and regular bathrooms. Friday night dinner is $7 for everyone and free 1st Keg of beer.
