The River and the Gnomes?
« Reply #3 on: June 13, 2011, 07:57:49 PM »
The Great Gnome of the Lux is taking us back to the 14th century, when he was born! Some of the photos he posted on the Gallery, just show he has way to much time on his hands! I loved it you go Gnome, see ya at the River. Love The Con Kid  PS  to anyone who plans to attend please bring a little Gnome to honor are great host, The Great Gnome of the Lux's. Please keep this a secret as I would not like Nevin the Wagon master to know. So drop off all Gnomes at the welcome tent. It is the big Red Vanagon, you can,t miss it. Sue Jane will welcome you, then kill me.

Where Do Think Gnomes Are Really Made?
« Reply #8 on: July 08, 2011, 04:04:44 PM »
Yes, of course, everyone knows that Gnomes are made in hollowed out logs out of moonbeams and pixie dust right here at West River Westies VIII in Townshend, VT. No, they are not made in Thailand in sweat shops with fluorescent lights and corn starch.

So, Lets go Camping at West River Westies and see how Gnomes are really made!. You will be surprised at how many will be there. Come and see for yourself

Ode to the Drinking Gnomes at West River Westies
« Reply #13 on: July 11, 2011, 04:27:36 PM »

The Gnomes at West River Westies have come to life
I heard them hiccuping outside.
They got into my Vodka, I know it
I'm going to tan their little hides.

They were tripping over my doorstep
And laughing way too loud,
Woke up my neighbors next door, they did
That makes them feel big and proud.

I wanted to go back to bed
And cover my hurting ears,
But, by the time I got upstairs
They got into my fridge, filled with cold beer.

I climbed out of my upper bunk
As fast as my old legs could go,
Fell over a bearded Gnome on the floor
And had facefull of furry afro.

I grabbed him by the scruff
Of his big fat neck,
Threw him outside and locked the door
I'm getting tired of keeping these little bastards in check.

Never again will I want Garden Gnomes
From that ogre from Westerly.
He was too awful for my liking
But, he's loveable, harmless and I love him too.
