« on: October 31, 2009, 01:06:22 PM »
I'm french, my apologies....
I'm active on a ww Type 3 forum , mostly in french, one room in english: next time

We have an introduction room, very helpfull to help us know each other. I suggest you create one here.

So,
I'm french, retired, have been student in USA, long time ago.

At that time I owned a baywindow I used to discover your country.
Columbia, New Orleans, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Calgary, Alaska highway to Anchorage, then Fairbanks and Point Barrow, back to SC through Montreal, Blue Ridge Parkway. 25 000 miles and only two breakdowns.

I bought a turbo diesel Type3 20 years ago, still running strong.
I plan a road trip tu USA next year, eather with my van or a rented one.

See you next year

Alain

My gallery....... next time.

Alain - Great to hear from you!  Your idea on the introduction room is a good one.  If you come to the US next summer, let us know.  You could certainly spend a night or two at our place (Massachusetts, near Rhode Island Border, very close to the Ocean).  Looking forward to the gallery.
