May 17 (Sat) Charlotte, NC – Charlotte Transporter Show 11. This year will be in a new location, very convenient to I-85. The setting will be similar to the last couple of years, only with better food availability and less loud music! The event will be paired with a vintage bicycle show (also same as previous years), so throw your classic bike in your bus and come on out and enjoy both shows! Location: Thomas T. Sandifer House, 12601 Moores Chapel Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214. Gates open at 8am, $5 to show, includes swap if you are in an Aircooled Type 2. $20 to swap if you are not in an Aircooled Type 2. As usual, the show will be preceded by an open house/shop party at Monkey Nut on Friday and followed by a caravan and campout at Farmington Dragway in nearby Mocksville, NC for the SEVWA’s Fast Times Farmington #21 all VW show, swap and drag racing. May 4 (Sun) Allenstown, NH – Granite State Aircooleds Spring VW Cruise and BBQ. Hi folks!! Spring is just around the corner so why not get out and cruise with us!! This will be our 3rd annual spring cruise and bbq! We will be leaving from Allenstown NH at 8am on May 4th and heading over to the seacoast for a cruise up the coast, and then we will circle back to Allenstown for a bbq around 1pm! April 27 (Sun) Mansfield, CT – CVA 24th Spring Dust Off, Mansfield Hollow State Park, 195 Basset Bridge Rd, Mansfield, CT from 9am to 3pm. Held rain or shine. April 26 - 27 (Sat-Sun) Seekonk, MA – New England Dust Off, Seekonk Speedway. Sunday show 9 - 4:30, all show cars must enter track from 9am-12 only. $5 spectator, under 13 free, $20 show car, $35 vendor. Saturday bar-b-que and get together hosted by Banchwerks, 357 West Fountain St, Providence, RI 02903, and a 21+ party at Club Dusk Saturday night.
