Can't wait Kevin..thank you for keeping this campout going...despite all the rules and regulations that New Jersey has imposed.

Can't wait to help Ed again, with the waffle breakfast....Can't wait to meet your "new" Vanagon this year.

And now an important announcement from my friend Katy:

Katy’s 2012 Help Stop Hunger

Collecting during Blue Rocks Camp Out

Handmade thank you gifts for kids and grown-ups!!!!!

Again this fall I’m having a food drive for our local pantry Phoenixville Area Community Services (PACS).

Last year I was able to raise over 570 pounds of food and supplies for PACS.

Please consider bringing a box or can of food to donate.

Any donation will help. A single can of soup or chili will help feed a boy or girl lunch and maybe dinner, too.

I am 180 pounds from this year’s goal of 500 pounds of donations.

Here’s what is needed most:

**cereal

** Peanut Butter and Jelly

Pancake Mix and Syrup

Canned pasta products (like Chef Boyardee)

** Oatmeal

Cooking Oil

Mayo

Sugar

School Snacks/Snacks

Tuna/ Canned Meat

**Juice/Juice mix

Spaghetti Sauce

Baked Beans

Pasta (Boxed)

Baking goods (mixes)

Potatoes (boxed and canned)

Mac and cheese

Canned soups

The following items are also needed and cannot be purchased with Food Stamps.

** Toilet Paper

** Bar Soap

** Toothpaste & Toothbrushes

** Razors

** Deodorant

** Diapers (esp. sizes 4, 5, & 6)

Baby Formula (esp. Similac) – no baby food

Feminine Products

Cleaning Supplies (esp. laundry detergent, dish soap,

and all –purpose cleaner)

** indicates items currently under stocked

One act of kindness can make a big difference in another person’s life.

Thank you for helping.

Katy

Daizee..if you plan to be in PA the same weekend as Jim Thorpe you can attend the Knoebels campout (which we met you at last year)- it is always held on labor day weekend, but this year, due to hosts expecting a baby, it will be held twice...once by the usual hosts Ben and Lynn in July.  check out: http://http://bensbus.zxq.net/knk.htm

and again labor day weekend hosted by Joe and Angela Gallagher.
