The maker of the Granny's Video [Bryan] does a great job as always and usually has it done right after each event.  I did a clutch for him shortly before the campout, and sent the video to Phil to post, Thanks Phil.

We are in full swing, with WW Milford this weekend, and  Buses by the Big Duck on June 3.   I've found going to eastern Long Island a worthwhile trip if one leaves early when passing through NYC.

After much being said, the event is on.  Red tape with the officials in town, and with the help of Bill M., we are good to go.  The date is Oct 9th to 12th,  address is Westbrook Park, 1175 Westbrook Rd. West Milford, N. J., 07480.This a  former picturesque KOA campground, owned by the town.  The cost is $5 per night/camper.  On  Saturday, the "Autumn Lights Festival" will be held in town, [4.3 miles from the site].  Pot luck dinner is on Sat.,  along with an Octoberfest with German foods, live music, 5K run,  and many food vendors.   A shuttle service will be free to Town during the day.  At this time, the only shortcoming is there are no shower facilities.  There will be bathrooms,  playgrounds, a pond, and lots more.

Vanagon concerns / Kernobles?
« on: September 03, 2009, 08:33:55 AM »
Hope to see some of you norteastern  folks at Kernobles this weekend.  It's an easy drive off Rt.80 west of Hazelton, Pa.  This is an incredible park, [my favorite] which my grandparents first took  my family to 52 years ago.  There is simply nothing like it.  Weather outlook looks great.   Jon

Vanagon concerns / subaru futures
« on: August 04, 2009, 12:21:44 PM »
In the news today, some signs of the auto turnaround were mentioned.  Subaru posted a 35% increase in sales over 2008,  having the highest.  Nissan posted a 25% decrease.  In the upcomming years, Subaru junkyard motors will be more plentiful in the short time to come, mostly the ones we want for our Vanagons.[/img]
