i have two of the larger grey doors that that go under the utencil draw one has matching grey lock other is without lock and i have an extra rear closet door that is awkwardly shaped not the oval one....all of them have grey trim intact...sorry didnt this was og to last summer thread, anyways if you still in need i can be reached at hotvw882@gmail.com

have you tried the  3m adhesive for a reference check out the usually vendors but you can pick it up cheaper at any FLAPS

i ended up doing mine myself, it wasnt really that hard, found i did need some extra line and  both left & right grommets for the vent tanks along with extra line to those tanks, while at it i replaced the line from the tank to the pump and the pump back to firewall...pretty easy job...write up on bensplace.com & samba how to do it

we have a friend of the family who works at a local subaru shop, highest sales shop in NH and he says " what recession" they have never slowed down...he said they had some dead spots over the winter but not like the other dealers ...times are good for subaru

its like i hate to sounds so :oops: mushy, but ive fallen in love with it again...i can pick up the boys at practice, i can go camping, i can go to the beach, i can go cruising without that constant fear of breaking down with the wife & kids

so the 16" rims do they make a difference in gearing, you mention same revs, i hear some folks re gear the tranny to get more out of each gear even adding a fifth...i think im gonna leave mine as is but im contemplating shock & springs to try and eliminate some of the body roll in corners with the extra speed

yeah 3rd gear is a beast huh? i had a bmw tailgating me going onto rte 101 in nh and I just floored  it went from 35-70 in third gear! looked in the rear view and no more beamer! :twisted: just makes me question why VW never went this way...heart + soul = harmony

exactly what beebrew stated its a big job with a million ways to go south on you, ive done brakes, gas tank reseal , fuel lines, vac lines, canvas on top,  reg maintenance items you know but i wouldnt dream of touching a head job :evil: its beyond my skill level

i just put a 2.5 in mine too i got lucky and got a 07 with 14k miles:lol: i am so happy with it, looks like it belongs there, plenty of tourque, no overhang on the bottom...im afraid im gonna get a speeding tix...did you stay stock on the tires and tranny gearing? how bout that idle :D
