I have an 82 Vanagon Westy diesel which has been in the family since new. Do my own minor maintenance and improvements but lack the space for major work. Getting older, too. Looking for a good mechanic or shop that is truly expert with Vanagons and specifically diesel Vanagons. Would help if they also know Westy camper stuff too. I'm in the north Los Angeles area but will travel if necessary.
