May 17 (Sat) Charlotte, NC   Charlotte Transporter Show 11. This year will be in a new location, very convenient to I-85. The setting will be similar to the last couple of years, only with better food availability and less loud music! The event will be paired with a vintage bicycle show (also same as previous years), so throw your classic bike in your bus and come on out and enjoy both shows! Location: Thomas T. May 23-26 (Fri-Sun) Westies in the Wood, Branchville, NJ 2014 -Held at Group Site G in Stokes State Forest in Branchville, NJ, from Friday, May 23 to to Monday, May 26 on Memorial Day weekend. It's a nice big open field abutting the woods with a few picnic tables for our group meals, and a fire pit. There's a stream in the woods nearby. The bathrooms and showers are not too far away. Day use area has a small beach and a fishing area. There are larger lakes nearby.

Contra Costa County Fairgrounds, 1201 West 10th St, Antioch, CA 94509 (use main entrance) Gates open at 8:00 am for this display and swap event which is open to ALL Volkswagen buses and trucks, regardless of year, model or condition. Aug. 24 (Sun.) New York City, NY   Governor’s Island VW Traffic Jam. Located off the southern tip of Manhattan, this historic and recently renovated island is an ideal location for a NY city car show. Excellent views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. Pre-registration only,

Aug. 29-Sept. 1 (Fri-Mon) Mark Twain Lake, MS - Buses Nowhere Near The Arch #29. Any
era and all models of VW's are welcome to enjoy this BNNTA family-oriented VW camping event during the long Labor Day holiday weekend. Featuring VW-only camping on a 22 mile long lake, an informal VW Bus show, a fun and highly competitive best individual and best group campsite decoration contest, a scenic countryside caravan on Saturday to discover the sights of historic Hannibal, MO. Our campground is lakeside, so bring your watertoys (canoes, kayaks, etc.). BNNTA is held in a beautiful Corp of Engineers built/managed campground with
very nice facilities, clean bathrooms and nice shower facilities, a playground and a huge pavilion for our sole use. The "total" event/camping fee for each VW for the entire four day weekend is only $30. Yep! A total of only $30! And that includes your event dash plaque too. If you have something VW related that you want to donate to the door prize pile, please bring it along and we'll give it away. There will be event t-shirts, etc. available. The Watkins Glen State Park is doing construction and improvements, after Labor Day weekend in all the camping loops they usually have reserved for us. This has caused a mild scramble to find an alternate camping area with enough sites to accommodate our VW camping group.
At Watkins Glen on the weekend of Sept 5-7 is a Vintage racing weekend. It is to celebrate the history of legendary Watkins Glen International during one of the largest sportscar vintage racing events in the United States, featuring a variety of historic cars from as far back as the 1930's with a spotlight on the 2014 marque: MG.
We are in the final negoiations for group camping right at the track.

Sept. 20-21 (Sat-Sun) Flanders, NJ   All Air-Cooled Gathering, German Swim and Sport Club, 272 Emmans Rd, Flanders, NJ 07836. This will be our 10-year anniversary and is sure to be a blow-out. We will be showcasing Bay Window Buses and everyone who brings their bay bus will receive a special gift. Gates will open at 2:00 pm on Saturday for camping, VW camaraderie and the clubhouse party; and again at 8:00 am on Sunday for the show. We have kids games, "Dub Push", valve cover racing and a big swap meet. All air-cooled cars are welcome and encouraged to enter the show. There will be trophies, dash plaques, raffle prizes, on-site kitchen, bar and live music all weekend. Proceeds will go to help support Operation Jersey Cares, an all volunteer organization that provides care and support for past and present NJ Combat Veterans.

Oct. 11-12 (Sat-Sun) Brookline, MA  Transporterfest/Volkswagen Day. Join us for the 29th annual gathering of the Buses, and all VWs, on the historic lawn at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum, 15 Newton St, Brookline, MA 02445. 9am   3pm. Open to all VWs and swap meet sellers as well. No pre-registration, just show up on the day of the show. Event is rain or shine with on-site food vendor and indoor restrooms. $20 show registration includes auto museum admission for all passengers in vehicle. Oct. 17-19 (Fri-Sun) -  Lenhartsville, PA - Bustoberfest at Blue Rocks campground, 341 Sousley Rd,  Lenhartsville, PA. Sites are $32/night, Brad and Andrea (your hosts) have site #116 booked. This site is just past the boulder field. They also have site #114 booked as an overflow site. Bring your favorite craft/local beer and wine for tasting on Saturday in the afternoon. We will be having raffles to help support a local food pantry in Phoenixville, PA. Potluck Saturday night, door prizes and Halloween events happening at the campground. Sunday October 19th, 2014-The CVA's 16th Annual Fall Foliage Cruise.
We plan to meet at Dunkin Donuts (369E.Main St.) Thomaston Ct. 06787 between 9:00 - 9:30am. From there and we will wind through the scenic roads of Connecticut with a few stops along the way. We plan to stop at McDonalds at noon or you can bring a picnic lunch. There will be a dinner after the the cruise for those who are interested.
