:-/Howdy! I was just wondering about a coolant leak I have on an 87 Vanagon??? It seems to be coming from just above the oil filter! Would this be where the 'dreaded cracked head' leak originates, or would that be further down (by the heads)??? I am hoping (of course) that this problem might just be a hose, but am not sure? Thanks! Dax

recheck the leak there are afew hoses and the water pump above the oil filter housing.
